SHCM students wins a series of prizes at Four international competitions


Students from the Department of Modern Instrumental Music and Percussion of Shanghai Conservatory of Music have recently won a series of prizes at four international competitions, winning 41 international awards, including seven special prizes and 11 first prizes.


Yutong Wang, who majored in the accordion, won the first prize of the Danubia Talents –– The 3rd Wiener Klassiker International Online Music Competition.


Ma Jieru, who majored in percussion, won the first prize of the Eleventh International Competition “Musical Fireworks” in Baden-Wuerttemberg; the first prize of the Rocky Mountain Music Competition; and the Special Award of the ISC Art International Music Competition.


Xinyun Zhang, who majored in the accordion, won the first prize of the Eleventh International Competition “Musical Fireworks” in Baden-Wuerttemberg.


Zhang Jiajing, who majored in traditional percussion, won the first prize of the Rocky Mountain Music Competition.
