SHCM top officials meet San Francisco Conservatory of Music team




Shanghai Conservatory of Music President Lin Zaiyong and Deputy Party Secretary Liu Yan met the president of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, David H. Stull, and his delegation on March 11.

Lin welcomed the guests and reviewed the friendship between the two conservatories since the 1970s. Lin suggested that the two conservatories expand cooperation and exchanges in the areas of music engineering, vocal music, opera and chamber music so as to widen the vision of their students.

Stull mentioned the long-term friendship between Shanghai and San Francisco and unveiled the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s short-term development plans.

Hailing the SHCM’s long history and outstanding achievements, he hoped that the two sides will be able to establish a resource-sharing platform to jointly nurture top-level music talent.
