Two teachers from Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Yang Sai and Yu Yunfei, have recently won sponsorship of the 2017 National Social Science Fund of China for their research projects.

Over the past decade, SHCM teachers have earned more endorsements from the fund than any other music conservatories in the country. They also include projects initiated by Luo Qin, Xiao Mei (twice), Han Zhong’en, Jia Daqun, Chen Yingshi, Qian Renping, Zhang Yanli, Zhang Wei, Dai Xiaorong, Yang Jian and Feng Changchun.

Meanwhile, SHCM has introduced altogether 14 humanities research projects sponsored by the Ministry of Education.
