Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Showa University of Music in Japan collaborated again to perform “Così Fan Tutte,” a comic opera by Mozart, in Japan on October 8 and 9, 2016. The show was a great success.

Yang Yi, Chen Dashuai and Su Rongna, students from the Voice and Opera Department of the SHCM, were trained at the Japanese university for several weeks before the performance. They learned a lot from Japanese and Italian opera singers.

Former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama watched the opera on the first day of the show and had pictures taken with the opera singers.
