Zhang Xianping talks with Sophie Galaise from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in Australia.

SHCM Vice President Zhang Xianping had a meeting with Sophie Galaise, managing director of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and Gabrielle Waters, MSO director of operations, on September 1, 2016.

Zhang welcomed their visit and briefed them on the history and operation of the conservatory. He expressed the hope for bilateral cooperation, such as inviting Australian musicians to teach and perform in Shanghai and sending Chinese students to Melbourne for internship.
