Elmar Lampson and Xu Shuya had a cordial meeting at the conservatory.

Elmar Lampson, president of the Hamburg University of Music and Theater, led two composition professors Michael von Troschke and Chen Xiaoyong, to visit the Shanghai Conservatory of Music on April 11, 2013.

A vice minister of the German Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy, also joined the visit.

They were met by SHCM President Xu Shuya and Chinese professors Ye Guohui, Jia Daqun, Chen Qiangbin and Lan Hancheng.

The two parties discussed the renewal of their exchange program and some details concerning Chinese students pursuing the Master’s program in art education at the Hamburg school.
