MPI School of Arts delegation visits conservatory

Liu Yan, deputy Party secretary of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, met a delegation from the School of Arts at Macao Polytechnic Institute, led by its director Hsu Hsiu-Chu, on October 19, 2016.

The two schools signed an agreement in 2015 for enrollment cooperation. The SHCM fulfilled its obligations and helped the Macao school to recruit mainland students for its various departments.

The two sides expressed the will to continue cooperation in recruitment and exchanges, including faculty and student exchanges and exchanges in performances and lectures.

The Macao visitors toured the SHCM buildings, piano rooms and multimedia facilities after the meeting. They included Dai Baisheng, associate professor and program coordinator; Wong Chi-Kuan, lecturer and assistant program coordinator; and an enrollment official.

The SHCM director of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan affairs, Chen Xiaoyi, and the SHCM deputy director of studies, Zhang Lai, joined the meeting.
