Transportation from airport to campus:

Welcome to Shanghai Conservatory of Music！

The Conservatory is located on Fenyang Road. Traveling to and from here is surprisingly easy. There are two international airports in Shanghai: one is called Pudong International Airport, the other Hongqiao Airport. Followed are some routes to get to the campus:

i. By Metro

The Conservatory is close to metro line 1, Line 7, Line 10. The nearest metro stations are: Changshu Road (Line 7) and South Shaanxi Road (Line 1, Line10), from which to school takes five to ten minutes on foot. From Pudong International Airport you can first take the Metro Line 2 then transfer to Metro Line 7 at the Long Yang Road, direct to Changshu Road. From Hongqiao Airport you can take the Metro Line 10 direct to South Shaanxi Road.

ii.By Taxi

If you have heavy luggage, the best way to reach the campus is by taxi. There are taxi ranks at the airport. The journey from Pudong International Airport takes about one and a half hour, which costs about RMB 200, from Hongqiao Airport about 30 minutes and RMB 60.

ⅲ. By Airport shuttle

You can take Airport Shuttle from Pudong International Airport to the terminal Jin’an Temple (about two hours) which is near our campus, and take a taxi to our conservatory，which will cost about RMB 20 by taxi.

Student’s Medical Insurance Information

According to the International Student’s Regulations by Shanghai Education Committee, all self-support international students in China are required to buy comprehensive medical insurance as a requirement for registration.
