Lin Zaiyong, Party secretary and president of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, met the delegation led by William Quillen, dean of the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music from the United States on November 12.
Lin said he hoped the two conservatories will further their long-time cooperation in the areas of academic exchanges, opera and joint performances.
Quillen thanked Lin for his warm welcome and said that the SHCM plays an important role in the history of the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. He hoped that the two sides will deepen cooperation in a wider range of areas.
The delegation also appreciated the model of the SHCM Opera Theatre after the meeting.
