Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe of Germany signed an exchange memo on November 7. SHCM Party Secretary and President Lin Zaiyong and Karlsruhe Principal Hartmut Höll attended the signing ceremony.
Lin said it is a great pleasure to work with Karlsruhe, one of the top musical academies in the world, and the school’s strategic thinking on music development has been inspiring.
He also appreciated the exchange opportunity Karlsruhe provides for SHCM students. A delegation will visit Karlsruhe next year to speed up the bilateral cooperation.
Principal Höll said he has come to SHCM for many times and was impressed by SHCM students’ diligence and accomplishments. Karlsruhe values the collaboration and looks forward to the future common development of the two parties.
