The 2018 Shanghai Conservatory of Music International Percussion Festival and the 3rd IPEA International Percussion Competition concluded successfully at Shanghai Symphony Hall on October 6.
Awards were presented to the competition winners by representatives from YAMAHA Corporation, the sponsor.
Three drum winners also performed along with SHCM jazz band at the closing ceremony.
This year the competition kicked off on October 1, attracting over 600 competitors from across the world. Altogether five concerts and 10 sessions of master’s class were held during the period.
