Young musicians from Shanghai Conservatory of Music and its partner University of Melbourne performed at a music cultural exchange event held on a cruise touring the Huangpu River on September 27.
SHCM Party Secretary and President Lin Zaiyong and Barry Conyngham, dean of the Faculty of the Victorian College of the Arts and Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, attended the event along with students from the two schools.
Australian folk songs and traditional Shanghai pieces were played. The delicate music and the Bund night view blended into a wonderful concert.
