Altogether 100 pieces of musical instruments from over 20 Belt and Road countries are on display in Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
The exhibition, held in collaboration with Hubei Province Museum, collects string, plucked and wind instruments and will last until the end of November.
A series of events were staged between September 13 and 16, including lectures on traditional musical instrument and cultural heritage music performance.
Similarities and differences can be seen in these exhibits, especially the plucked instruments from Turkey, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and China. They also reflect the history of cultural exchange dating back to ancient times.
