Finnish master conductor Jorma Panula concluded his course at Shanghai Conservatory of Music and was granted the title of the school’s honorary professor at the closing ceremony on June 11. SHCM Party Secretary and President Lin Zaiyong presented him the certificate.
Panula congratulated the students for their improvements and wished them a bright future at the ceremony. He also said that the class was well organized and he would like to visit more often in future.
Altogether eight students performed at the ceremony to show what they had learned in the classe. They were carefully selected for the five-day master class given by Panula.
