Shanghai Conservatory of Music held a ceremony on November 14 at He Luting Concert Hall to unveil Pa-He International Flute Art Center
Principal flutist of Berlin Philharmonic, Emmanuel Pahud and SHCM flute professor He Shengqi have been appointed chief professors of the center.
SHCM Vice President Wang Rui spoke at the ceremony. He wished the center to become a high-level platform for flute discipline development, talent cultivation and international exchanges.
The center will focus on performance, creation and innovation with an international outlook.
The establishment of the center was deemed as a birthday present to SHCM’s 90th anniversary.
