Li is the deputy director of China Nationalities Orchestra Society Specialty Committee of Chinese Pipa, director of Shanghai Musician Association Specialty Committee of Chinese Pipa and a specialist of Shanghai Cultural Talents Certification Center. She has been invited as the judge of major music competitions including Golden Bell Awards and CCTV National Instrumental Music Competition.
Li has won the SHCM President Award and SHCM He Luting Award for her efforts in musical education. Many students tutored by Li won prizes at professional music competitions across the country.
Li is committed to the long-term research of instrumental music art theory. She has published papers and treatises totaling 600,000 characters.
