Shanghai Conservatory of Music Vice President Zhang Xiaoping met with Mr. Jamari, chairman of a cultural and arts foundation from Iran; and Behnam Azad Takchi Olya, the cultural attaché of the Iranian Consulate General in Shanghai, on May 19, 2016.
They discussed matters concerning the exhibition of Iranian folk musical instruments in Shanghai in October and related performances and a workshop for Chinese students.
Jamari came with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, which was invited to perform at the closing ceremony of Shanghai Spring International Music Festival.
