Franz Patay, rector of the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna and secretary-general of International Music + Media Centre Vienna, visited the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in June 2015.
He held a meeting with SHCM Vice President Zhang Xianping, during which they swapped information about each other’s schools and discussed cooperation and exchanges.
The Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna was founded on the Conservatory of Vienna in 2005. It has instrumental music, vocal music, dance and performance art departments with 250 teachers and 850 students from around the world.
