Tim Frederiksen, vice president of the Royal Danish Academy of Music, led a group of faculties to visit the Shanghai Conservatory of Music from October 29 to November 2, 2012.
The group included the academy’s director of international relations Marianne Jakobsen, music engineer Jesper Andersen and network engineer Thomas J. Solak.
Frederiksen gave viola and chamber music classes to SHCM students while SHCM Professor Lan Hancheng offered an class online to chamber music students at the Danish academy. Jesper Andersen also gave a lecture at the Shanghai conservatory during their stay.
SHCM Vice President Zhang Xianping held a talk with Frederiksen to discuss the renewal of the cooperation agreement between the two schools.
